Saturday 26th November  - Kent League v East Sussex

This Kent Cup match was a repeat of last weeks encounter and the game certainly followed the same pattern with E Sussex dominating for long periods but unable to penetrate the Gravesham defence to create clear chances. But it was Gravesham who took the lead early in the game with Charlie Busby pouncing on a poor back pass to punish the home team. Within 5 minutes East Sussex were level with a move down the left flank to complement their flowing football. The second half started with Gravesham narrowly missing after their best move of the game but East Sussex soon punished Gravesham's lack of concentration with 2 goals to lead 3-1. With 10minutes to go Gravesham finally began to find space and created several good chances with Hicks going close, but it was Campbell who was rewarded for working hard to pressurise the defence and tapped in from a defensive error. More chances were created but it was all a little too late and the the final whistle blew to find Gravesham on the wrong side of a 3-2 result.
